QUALITY Quality assurance has been a cornerstone of Tetra Tech Industrial Divisions' project delivery process since the divisions inception in 1914. A formalized quality operating system was developed to assure a consistent level of technical excellence throughout the organization.

The goal at Tetra Tech - Industrial Division is to be each customers' first-choice firm. To achieve this goal, Tetra Tech's - Industrial Division recognizes that good technical work is the baseline; it is a must, but it is not enough. To be the first choice firm, Tetra Tech must also bring added value, cost avoidance and innovation to each assignment.

The MERIT Approach

The MERIT approach integrates many processes, measurables, and standards. These processes provide roadmaps for improving projects and business activities. The best resources of the company are assigned to review individual projects and introduce continuous improvement initiatives. The measurables (mostly established by our customers) enable Tetra Tech - Industrial Division to measure and trend all performance; they provide a frame of reference for continuous improvement initiatives. The established standards ensure consistency, and make certain that historic successes are carried forward.

In MERIT, customer expectations drive the processes, which in turn improve project delivery, business practices, standards, and future. It is a circular route that starts and ends with the customer.
